Volunteer opportunity at West 36th Street Garden this Saturday November 13. Placing granite patio. Should be a really good learning experience for all those involved. Come help, learn, and take away new methods to your projects.

I too believe that the city created a lot of roadblocks to a project doesnothing but make our neighborhoods better, and therefore enhances the city. Native Plantings: 1 year, 8 months agoWondering why more people aren’t posting the progress of their projects. Asking how could we ramp up the chatter. We have 2 and a half month before our pilot project ends. Seems a shame that there isn’t more on this site.

Spent a great day at West 36th Street with Mel and they guys “Court Community Service” They have been so much help with our projects and other projects around the city. They are truly greening our communiity.

Yesterday’s All Access Trolley Tour was a success. Many people ixited the trolley and spent the next 20 to 25 minutes talking to Brooklyn Centre Naturalists about the pocket park. They seemed to especially enjoy the lemonade and cookies while seated on ”the sitting wall”.

Just finished an interview with Michelle Epps from CSU about Brooklyn Centre Naturalists, our projects and other ”stuff”. Saw lots of Butterflies and birds. Colony of ants bringing sand to surface. Hope i stressed how great with think this opportunity is for us to plop a beautiful garden ND NURSERY DOWN IN AN uRBAN SETTING.

I refrained from posting during the summer because I was terribly disappointed in the City’s support of this project. Like Mom always told me ”If you don’t have anything nice to say…”

I agree! Also – Gloria – I took a group from Indianapolis on a tour and visited your site. It looks great!!!!! the stone is beautiful!
