I’d like to let everyone know about an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup farm and training center in Youngstown, Ohio! The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation is currently seeking candidates for a Farm Manager/Site Coordinator position at Iron Roots Urban Farm to begin in February 2012. The Farm Manager/Site Coordinator will collaborate with a team of professional staff and partner organizations in the management, program implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Iron Roots Urban Farm located at 820 Canfield Road in Youngstown, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess experience managing a market garden, farm, or other sustainable agriculture enterprise; including crop planning, sales, and staff management.
